Coming up at the Old Market in Hove at the end of the month is the 2023 edition of Reigning Women arts festival. It is described as “an annual genre-spanning mini-season of shows and events that are all about celebrating the kick-ass women that are strutting their stuff on the scene at the moment“.
Previous years have had such names as Kiri Pritchard-McLean, Rachel Parris, anna Meredith and the local Alice Russell. This year it looks like a good mixture of music and comedy with a bit of theatre thrown in. Music wise there is the soulful Frazey Ford and folky Courtney Marie Andrews. Comedy includes Grace Campbell: A Show About Me(n) and A&E Comedy presents: Witch Hunt. There is even an evening with the Queen of Bake Off Prue Leith if you really want to get the dirt on Paul Hollywood.

Reigning Women started in 2018 but went online for a couple of years because, you know.
