In an effort to stave off bankruptcy, Brighton Council has been investigating new fundraising schemes. Among the ideas being looked at are the following.

• Charging people to use the beach.
• Increasing the number of dodgy bus lanes.
• Raising the admission price of the I-360 to £1000 at peak times (not that far fetched).
• Raising the price of a pint to £10.
• Introducing a Hen and Stag tax.
• Hoping Eddie Izzard will make everything better.
