Gallery Lock In, everyone’s favourite art lock-up has a whopping three exhibitions this October. Two are part of the 2024 #photo Fringes while the other is part of this year’s Dreamy Place Festival.
First is a joint photography show with Raegan Hodge and Poppy Baines. It is on the 5th and 6th and 11th and 12th of October with parties on Sunday nights.
The second is by Charles Holm. There’s not much on the internet about him. Not even an Instagram.
And the last is Tewa Barnosa. She is a Libyan artist and curator known for her transdisciplinary approach, exploring themes like identity, conflict, and the intersection of art and activism. Born in Tripoli in 1998, she grew up during the Libyan Civil War, which profoundly influenced her work. Her art often delves into the destruction and reconstruction of knowledge, focusing on issues like free artistic expression, migration, and human rights in post-war Libya.
